The Crimsafe General Warranty
Crimsafe Security Systems warrants you, as an owner of a Crimsafe Security Product, that it is free from defects in materials supplied by Crimsafe Security Systems under conditions of normal use for a period of ten years from the date of installation.
The obligation under our warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product or component found to be defective by Crimsafe Security Systems or our duly appointed representative.
In other words, the general warranty does not apply to any damage due to matters outside the control of Crimsafe Security Systems, including owner maintenance, failure of owner to follow the care guide, accident, alteration of the product in any way, fire, abuse, misuse and normal wear and tear.
If you have a claim to make, contact the original Crimsafe representative who supplied and installed the product for you, and they will arrange an inspection. You must have proof of purchase in the form of an invoice and receipt. The warranty is not transferable and you must be the original purchaser. Where the product has not been maintained in accordance with the warranty conditions, a fee to cover labour and refurbishment may apply. We honor all genuine warranty claims. The warranty covers the stainless steel mesh, door frame, paint and clamp for a period of 10 years. All moving parts such as hinges, door closers, locks, wheels and installation are covered by a manufacturer's 12 month warranty.
